I don't know about the rest of you, but this made me never want to try LEGAL drugs on top of illegal ones.

Thoughts?

Eeh...see the thing is with drugs that people have to use for their whole life, I think in the video she cites medication for mental illness, without medication, some people would be a hell of a lot worse off. Yes you have to buy medication forever, but that's more of an issue with the structure of the insurance and pharmaceutical businesses, NOT with the medications themselves.

I get what she means about pharmaceuticals being overly concerned about fiscal gain, but it seems like taking it too far to say that medications can not actually help people.

Might I add that it isn't a big surprise that pharmaceutical companies want to make money.
Honestly? We live in a capitalist society. Everyone makes decisions based on how much they will profit.

I wanna add in the Tylenol is more responsible for liver disease than even alcohol. Seriously.

This is why I usually just stick it out, without drugs. Helps the body out and build natural resistance.

Yes Tylenol is bad, but only if you take more than the recommended dosage. Note how it says "if you take too much," in all of those things.
Thus if you take like, one Tylenol for a headache or something, you're not going to drop dead of liver failure or something. However if you're taking five everyday then you're going to have a problem. It's the same for any painkiller. Hell, it's the same for any drug, prescription or otherwise.

The issue is, it's a "painkiller," so people pop those things like skittles. Word to the wise: do not take after drinking. That shit'll fuck you up fo' sho'.

I guess I just always thought of using painkillers in moderation as common sense. Kinda like how you shouldn't only eat cupcakes your entire life or something.
If you use something in excess it will be harmful; what I'm saying is I didn't think that this was news to anyone.
