The Other Wings

The Platonic and Lincoln Wings literally have seen no growth for quite some time. This is due partly to my limit of asking people to suggest. But I wonder now if there really is any use to them.

They were created with the intention of being more debative and, frankly, competative (in a fun way). However, I have seen no interest.

How do we restructure these wings to work? How do we get them as engaging as the others? Should they be eliminated, and their contents merged with other sections? Or do we just need to open them up fully for more involvement?

I need thoughts, please.

I think a formal debate over the internet would be really hard to arrange and I never understood why we were doing that in the first place, really.

We could make them be "no hard feelings" zones, where when a topic is posted, we say what we think and NO OFFENSE is either GIVEN or TAKEN. That way, people can be combative and competitive without worrying.

I know that that is how the whole forum should be, but I mean to make those boards... harsher.

I mean to say that while the aris/socra boards are for the expansion of knowledge, thinking, and intellectual ability, the lincoln/plato would about the fight.

I was actually unsure of what the Platonic Wing was for. I feel like it could be integrated into the Socratic Wing, I agree that an overly formal debate would be hard on the internet.

Okay. I opened up a poll, but I don't understand why it's such a dark color. Sorry. :/
